Sri Lanka’s startup ecosystem has reached a cumulative valuation of $821 million, according to the latest global startup ecosystem reports. This valuation marks a significant milestone, driven by rapid growth in fintech, logistics, and health-tech sectors.
Despite challenges, Sri Lankan startups have attracted record venture capital interest. “The resilience of our founders is our greatest asset. We are now firmly on the map as South Asia’s innovation hub,” stated the Chairman of SLASSCOM. The growth is further supported by government initiatives aimed at digitalizing the economy.
